Every Friday Night there is a Car Cruise-In / Park & Shine on the southwest corner of Baseline Road & Gilbert Road in the Fry's Marketplace complex and right in front of Ace Hardware.

Come join the fun! The car scene is growing here in the valley with car cruises happening every weekend. Our TGIF Cruise has a great location with plenty of food choices within walking distance! Come and see for yourself and show off your vehicle while looking at other cool rides. Heck you can even park your Chevy next to a Mopar without being told you are in the wrong isle! We also have a 50/50 Raffle. You really need to see the just how much the Hot Wheels Races really are, it mixes very well with real cars and cruisers and makes for great evening of inexpensive entertainment, seriously you will have a good time!

The 33rd Annual Run to the Sun, open to 1972 and older cars and trucks, will be held in beautiful Lake Havasu City, AZ, home of the world famous London Bridge, on October 20-24, 2010. The event kicks off with a catered party for early arrivals on Wednesday evening. Thursday starts with a poker run in the morning and ends with a huge cruise night on McCulloch Blvd. on Thursday night. Friday and Saturday are show & shine days on the Island golf course at The Nautical Beachfront Resort. A Fashion Show for the ladies will be held on Saturday morning. Our unique Navajo made Kachina trophies will be awarded on Saturday afternoon to the winners in 29 classes and others chosen by our sponsors and local organizations. Sunday morning wraps things up with a parade of vehicles through town. The annual Viet Nam Veterans of America Chapter 106 Nam Jam Music Festival is on hold until 2011 when it will have a new venue and an exciting schedule of top talent, family fun and a street fair atmosphere. Meanwhile, the fall 2010 event will be a second 2010 car show at Chuy’s at 22nd Street and Kolb on Saturday November 13th.

We are calling the show a Nam Jam Fall Car Show to celebrate and support Viet Nam Veterans and their service to America. And to raise money for VVA projects.
