The Southern Arizona Mustang Club is kicking off the Spring Season with their all Ford show to be held March 4, 2012 between 9am and 3pm. The show is named, “Fords on Fourth” and will be held in the historic 4th Avenue District of downtown Tucson. Four blocks of the street will be closed to normal traffic providing an attractive setting for the show.

The fabulous 4th Avenue District offers many restaurants and shops for fun dining and shopping, with all of the beautiful Fords providing a colorful pallet on the street.

Come and celebrate the season in one of Tucson’s most beautiful locations. The 2012 show will be a benefit for the Easter Seals Blake Foundation and the important work they do for children and adults with special needs. Again this year, the El Rio Health Center Foundation has been added with the good work they do providing health care in Southern Arizona.

The Southern Arizona Mustang Club is the oldest Mustang Club in the world and we would invite everyone to enjoy this special show with us.

The Arizona Historical Military Transport Association (AHMTA) is sponsoring the 8th Annual Southwest Military Transport show on March 24-25 which will be hosted by the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Aviation Museum, home of the famous B-17G “Sentimental Journey”.
The Arizona Historical Military Transport Association will be displaying 40+ antique military vehicles from all major wars including WWII, Korea and Vietnam. These vehicles are privately owned by club members and most have undergone meticulous restoration. Many have been outfitted with original equipment and supplies as would have been observed during actual battle. History buffs, antique vehicle enthusiasts and family members of all ages will enjoy seeing these vehicles and visiting with the owners to learn more about the vehicles and the efforts that go into keeping them running. Additionally, there will be a swap meet and displays of historic military artifacts, vehicle parts and collectibles.

The 2012 car show will be the biggest ever and blow your minds. Our new location will hold over 700 cars, is fenced, lighted and is flat grass. Over 30 classes all judged and trophies given for each class. T-shirts. We are hoping for over 60 venders of food and goods. Burger Burn Friday night at 5:00 p/m with live music. Ice cream bash Saturday night at 5:00 p/m with live music. Reduced motel rates from several local motels for car owners. Field opens Friday morning at 10:00 a/m to 5:00 p/m for late entries and check in. No cars will be allowed on the field over night. Saturday morning gates open to set classes at 7:00 a/m. Field closes both Friday and Saturday night after live music ends and will re-open Sunday morning for Trophies at 10:00 a/m and final good-by at 11:00 noon.
